eCallAid components

eCallAid sensor

The eCallAid sensor is attached on the patient and records every important information, including a first analysis of these data (e.g. by geofencing). If an emergency occurs, the eCallAid server is informed via internet. The eCallAid sensor is being configurated with the eCallAid server.

The system´s components are supposed to be based on the standard components of the Mobile-Smartphone-technology. Practical solutions are smart watches of the 3rd and 4th generation.

eCallAid server

The eCallAid server is the central part of the system and administrates the configuration and documentation of the patients´ data, as well as the eCallAid sensors and assistants. The eCallAid sensors report their data and emergencies to the eCallAid server. Following individually determinated rules, an evaluation is made, which is the base for the alarm scenario and the choice of the eCallAid assist.

eCallAid assist

The system is configurated by the eCallAid assist, which also signals and documents alarms. The system´s configuration and documentation takes place via a web interface on the computer or tablet. The alarm signal appears on all eCallAid assist devices at the same time. For the staff´s mobile operation a Smartphone and smart watch application are available. The eCallAid server chooses the suitable eCallAid assist for the emergency.

eCallAid beacon

The eCallAid beacons are the basic requirement for indoor-localisation via Bluetooth, they have to be installed within the whole facility. Only then a sufficient localization via radio is given. The eCallAid beacon plug with motion sensor, glowlight and alarm signal are specific extensions of the eCallAid beacons.
